Any Updates on Ventura and DNS Issues with Local LAN

Curious to see if there is any updates with Ventura not being able to connect to FQDN domains on a private network.

At our law firm we've been running DNS servers via Synology NAS servers for six years without much issue.

Then came Ventura and I can no longer connect to a domain like:

threepio.private.ourlawfirm.com

This has been working with all macOS versions from El Capitan up to Monterey. Ventura is the only one having this issue.

I'm having this DNS problem with SMB to NAS servers, LDAP to a Mac Mini and Filemaker client apps connecting to Filemaker Server.

I thought it had to be an SMB type of issue. Until recently I updated a Mac Mini (2018 model) that runs our Filemaker server. Updated the Filemaker Server to version 19 and the macOS to Ventura. This Mac mini is configured to use LDAP for authenticating Filemaker users. Configured via Directory Utility to an Open Directory running on a separate Mac Mini running Monterey, last version to support Mac Server app. R.I.P. =(

Anyhow, the moment I updated the Filemaker server Mac mini to Ventura it stopped being able to look up users via the LDAP. I went in and changed the domain name to the IP address and it immediately started working again.

One of my major complaints is now that I'm being forced to use IP addresses to connect to servers I've lost the use of the wildcard SSL and these connections aren't secure now. Yes it's a private network behind a good firewall, but I prefer traffic to be encrypted when possible.
