Why does Find My Mac notify me that I’ve left my laptop behind when it’s within 10 feet of me?
Why does Find My Mac notify me that I’ve left my laptop behind when it’s within 10 feet of me? This happens frequently, not exclusively but especially when traveling. I just got an alert when from 13 minutes ago while in the airport. The laptop is in my backpack, which has not left me. I get alerts when I leave it behind and sometimes when I don’t. Whatever mechanism Apple is using doesn’t work well at all but I don’t want to disable the feature in case I ever DO leave my MacBook behind.
