MacBook Air keyboard backlit should be on startup, before login

I read that this is because of the encryption of my Mac, but this must be changed. It's has no logic. If I need the keyboard backlit on is because there is not enough light in the room, so I need light to type my password to login. In summary, the keyboard backlit must goes on as soon as I press the power button, and not after I login. Thanks.
