Apple id not accepting the password

My Macbook is not accepting the apple id password after formatting the drive On reinstalling the OS OS X Yosemite 10 10 5 has been installed I want to update it bot not able to Whereas my apple id is working with the same password on the browser

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.10

You are sign in here .  .  .  with your Apple ID & Password.

Your Apple ID is the personal account you use with all Apple products and services. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you use with Apple.

You can’t merge multiple Apple ID accounts.

 

What happens when you use the same Apple ID & Password that you use to sign in here?

You need to use your Mac user account, that is your login user name to sign in to the App Store.

While to add in a community the same Apple ID and the password works but when I tries to log in with the same credentials on the MacBook it doesn’t work

once I try the option to find my device through login with the same ID on the web browser it shows that my MacBook has a higher version of OS but in reality it was a lower version due to which my MacBook was untraceable and for the same reason the Apple ID is not working over the device
