Sorry, but the iPhone 6 is not qualified to use anything higher than iOS 12.5.7.

It is not possible to install iOS 13, 14, 15, 16 on the iPhone 6.

Your almost 9 year old iPhone 6 cannot be updated higher than iOS 12.5.7. It’s hardware is incapable of running a newer version.

The solution is buy a newer iPhone model. My recommendation would be an iPhone 11 or higher.

Be very careful if you will be buying a used iPhone.

The ONLY solution is to buy a newer phone. For iOS 16 you would have to get an iPhone 8 or newer, or an iPhone SE 2nd or 3rd edition.
