Is there a Spin the wheel scam currently circulating

My partner has an iPhone XR that was running iOS 16.4 and she browsed to Kmart for wall art and the search results included a link to wall art under categories. She chose that and a spinning wheel appeared offering $500 gift cards and she clicked on it and then when she was presented with a link to collect her prize she became wary. Doing the same google search the wall art link was no longer present under categories.

Does anyone know if this is a new scam as we could find no reference to it on the web? Is there a good malware removal tool that anyone recommends?

Thanks.

iPhone 6s, iOS 12

A non-jailbroken phone cannot be hacked. Clicking on any link will not compromise your phone. Just be careful where you go and do not provide any personal information.
