Can a dad and mom monitor the same air tag at the same time a child is wearing?

Not at present. AirTags are currently only supported for one user but Apple have indicated that the location will be able to be shared in iOS 17, likely to be released in September. That said AirTags and not intended to be used to track people or pets.
