emails - now says 'no sender' instead of showing who sent it?

first my emails on my iphone would show up then i would delete what i dont want then i login to gmail and the emails havent updated and show as unread? so im thinking the two emails arent syncronized anymore... for whatever reason? been fine until this week

i deleted the mail app on my iphone and downloaded it again, now i have done this when i go into my mail all my emails are showing as 'no sender' ???? annoying !!

how do i get the mail to show the actual sender...

also how to sync with gmail...

Hey brearley84,

First, we recommend that you check to make sure your iOS is updated to the latest version. Keeping your software updated can resolve unknown issues: Update your iPhone or iPad

If the software is up to date and the issue persists, try removing the email account and then adding it again: Add and remove email accounts on iPhone

If you continue to experience the same issue, we suggest that you contact the email service provider for more information about the email server type, and let them know that your emails are not being synced with your device.
