Thank you so much for your help. I had previously tried all of these things, and it finally dawned on me why my dictation wasn’t working. I had neglected to turn my earbuds off, and that turned off my dictation. I learned a valuable lesson. Thank you so much for your answer!

Hey mknmkn,

Let's try toggling the Dictation option by disabling it and then enabling it again. Go to Settings > General > Keyboard. Disable Dictation and then enable it again: Dictate text on iPhone

If that didn't help, also try restarting your iPhone:Restart your iPhone

Be sure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version:

Update your iPhone or iPad

Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Let us know how it goes!

Best regards.
