M2 Air, 2022 - 16GB Memory with Ventura 13.4

While I included Ventura 13.4, this problem has occurred with previous OS versions as well.

The Problem: If I wipe my hand across my keyboard while cleaning it or just quickly moving my hand to another key to type something - the entire display goes dark and my backlit keyboard shuts off. Naturally I've tried changing the brightness each and every time it happens in hopes that it's something as silly as that but no luck. The only solution is the hard reset of on and off which isn't difficult but annoying and a waste of time.

I take excellent care of my laptop so it's nothing hardware related from being dropped etc. Any advice is appreciated as this was a $2000+ laptop that basically throws temper tantrums.
