My appletv app on my Roku tv is suddenly streaming in yellow. It shows previews of shows but when I start streaming shows the screen goes yellow. I have tried deleting the app and redownloading the appletv app.
I'm not sure, but I think I ended up removing the app from my Roku TV, unplugged the TV for a few minutes then restarted and reinstalled the app then signed into my account. Has been working since.

Given you've already deleted and redownloaded the app, the only thing left to suggest, is to ensure that your Roku TV is running the most current software/firmware available for it.

was a long time ago. i think i started the roku as new. reset.
I've had the same problem for the last few days. The app on my Roku TV had worked fine for months, now when streaming a show I only get a yellow screen. The dialog and captioning are there but no picture. The app works fine on my Macbook. I have reset the app on the Roku TV as well as updated it with no avail.
