What chargers can I use for an iPhone 7?

It's getting more difficult to find standard USB adapters and USB to lightning cables. Can I use a USB-C with lightning cable to charge my phone (and iPad) without damaging it? The phone came with a 5 Watt adapter, and the iPad with a 12 Watt. Can I use the iPad adapter to get a faster charge for the iPhone?

You can safely use ANY Apple USB power adaptor - paired with an appropriate Lightning cable - to charge your phone.

Unfortunately, none of them will charge your “7” significantly faster than the 5w “ice cube” originally supplied.

(Fast Charging was first implemented on iPhone 8)
