Import photos to Photos Library

Preserve the date the date the photo was taken and not change it to date of import

Just import the photo into the library and bring up the thumbnail's info window, ⌘+i. The date will be shown in the Info window. If you look in the Imports view it will be listed by date imported. In the Library/All Photos view it will be listed by date taken with the newest at the bottom of the window and the oldest at the top.


Importing does not change the date the photo was created.
