AirPods Pro 2 Microphone is muffled on phone calls

Hello all,

When calling somebody with my AirPods Pro 2 (A2698), I sound muffled according to all persons I call. I have tried with numerous callers and all of them complain of the same. This is the third pair of AirPods Pro 2 I am trying and all of them had this particular issue. Apart from this all other functions and the sound I hear is normal. Please help.
