Apple TV Splash Screen Disappears on Samsung Smart TV

I have been happily using Apple TV (latest model) with my Samsung smart TV. Yesterday. what I will call the "splash screen," with tiles to things like PBS, Criterion Channel, MAX etc, disappeared. I can't find a way to get it back, or to download a replacement. These days, I'm not sure where to go for help; Apple, Samsung, or Best Buy where I purchased the TV. Any help or advice will be appreciated...

That will depend on where exactly this splash screen was, and what exactly you see now.

By splash screen, do you mean this:

Are you using an actual Apple TV box?

Or just the Apple TV app on your smart TV?

What do you currently see, instead of the splash screen then?

If using an actual Apple TV box, make sure the Samsung TV is set to the input the Apple TV is connected to.

Beyond that please explain what you see exactly.
