Home Networks are set up on the router, so it depends on which one you have and may need to follow the instructions provided with the router. Sometimes they have an app that you can download for setup and other times you have to connect a cable from the router to a computer to set it up.

Once a Network name and Password is setup on the router, each device just needs to connect to the WiFi network that was created. For the Macs, it's easy.

Sometimes the router will have a wifi network set up already with the name and password usually on a sticker on the bottom or back of the router. If that is the case, you might be able to connect to it without doing any router setup.

@jamesburn068: Excellent advice! One thing to note though is some Internet service providers charge extra fees for them to assist with the set up and running of a "home" network. This is something that the OP should be made aware of so there will be no "surprises" from AT&T.

@Walletarian: Be sure to review AT&T policies on their support site to see if they do indeed charge you for running a home network. Again, not all do, but you should verify that before committing to doing so.
