iCloud share file option not showing up in finder

According to this apple guide, while inside the iCloud folder, the following icon is to be found in the sharing menu of the finder window, enabling sharing ICloud file links:

This option is not available, neither from the share menu nor through right-click.

I can share file links from the iCloud Browser version though.
