Can I use my Apple cloud storage as a Time Machine Backup? I am using Mac OS Monterey 12.6.1. I am upgrading to a new Macbook Pro? My LacieII bought at Apple will no longer write.

Always best to have your own backup and not just rely on any external backup source. Have more than one.
