missing notes using blueyonder email

My notes using blueyonder email have disappeared, any ideas how to get back? Blueyonder/virgin have has email issues over past few days which I’m certain this is connected.

Gmail Notes disappeared It seems others have asked this question before, but I haven't discovered a solution... My phone kept popping up with a message stating that I needed to sign into my google account in the settings app. I clicked on it and signed in. The next time I checked my notes app, all my notes stored in the Gmail folder were gone... All of them. Since the notes app syncs with Gmail, I went to Gmail and checked the notes category. Some of my notes were there. However, every note I wrote down (I write in there a lot) since 2018 is gone... Not in Gmail, not in the notes app. Where can I go to recover these notes? PS - Also, apparently It's not a Google problem as "Gmail simply syncs the data from the Notes app (if Notes says delete everything, Gmail does as instructed). Google is just a “container” the notes app uses to save stuff in."

Notes are being sent to me in many emails (gmail) I have this issue that i've only just noticed lately. I use my gmail account for keeping notes on my iphone and I noticed that when I view "all mail" in my inbox I have about 20-30 consecutive emails for a single note if it's a long one. It seems to be sending an email for every word that I type and i'm guessing it's sending an email as it's auto saving the note periodically. How can I stop this from clogging up my inbox? Should I just stop using my google account to sync notes? How would I go about transferring all my notes over to "on my phone" and synced to icloud. Cheers

how to stop iphone notes getting sent to gmail WITHOUT deleting them from phone One day noticed there were MILLIONS of copies of notes made on my iPhone (sometimes many copies of one note, what joy) filling up my various gmails. Found out here (thank you apple support community) that if i go into settings>mail>accounts on my iphone and toggle the 'notes' button to 'off' in each of those accounts, it will stop sending copies to my gmail, huzzah! Also that terrifying warning comes up saying all those notes will be deleted from my phone. Gack. If i Do toggle the 'notes' switch in mail accounts to 'off', will all those gmail notes disappear from my phone? If so, wtf?! Apple can you please change this?! it is a truly horrible feature.

Hey there Gailjen,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about issues with missing Notes.

Since it's from your third-party email, you need to enable that account to see those notes.

Add or remove accounts in Notes on iPhone - Apple Support

If it is enabled, check the Recently Deleted folder:

If you're missing notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

If they were saved in iCloud, you can try restoring them:

Delete and recover notes on iCloud.com - Apple Support
