4 digit code on Apple Pay

Anyone know if you can get the previous 4 digit code linked to a bank card which is not in use any more? Made a purchase with Apple Pay but need the code that was linked to the card used at the time to get a refund, all day I’ve been passed from pillar to post.

Apple Pay Issue Has anyone experienced Apple Wallet converting the last 4 digits of your physical card into another code, not the apple wallet code either!? Usually it shows on your receipt the 4 digit wallet code but I've just purchased on Argos, using apple pay and the code is showing as MC (1bcd). How can I get a refund as that won't correspond with anything I've used!? Apple customer service saying it's the bank but just checked another receipt for non apple pay method and it's showing the last 4 digits of my physical card number as expected.

The Last Four Digits on Apple Pay Today the cashier accidentally took a bigger amount than he was supposed to, and I was surprised at the last four digits. They were not my card’s four digits! Apparently Apple creates their own four digits, and you can even see them on the app. i have two questions: If I add my physical card info, will the last four digits be the same? Why can’t I see the other four blocked numbers? It looks like this: **** 1234. Why?
