Deleted Startup Disk Accidentally
I I was trying to do a Ventura update and apparently I didn’t have enough space on my Mac. Then, because I absolutely know nothing about computers, I went to my MacBook Pro and deleted the start up disk (I think - at least a portion of it anyway)
I read through the posts from two years ago, and someone else had this situation so I tried all those helpful tips to which none has helped. I did get to the partition my internal drive using the format of macOS extended journaled and it automatically populated the name field to Shanna and then I hit apply. A box popped up asking if I am sure I want to partition the device as I cannot undo this action and it will permanently erase data stored on some of the partitions - I clicked partition to continue and it takes me back to the original box. says this partition will be raised Shanna. It’s a vicious cycle. I did replace the name “Shanna” with the name of my drive and that didn’t work either.
