trying to install Mac OS High Sierra on my old macbook

i upgraded my old late 2010 macbook pro to a m1 2021 macbook pro.

Now the old mac i gave to my dad and somehow he managed to mess up the system.

I have tried to download mac os high sierra from my 2021 macbook and i cannot do that.

a friend that has a late 2010 mac downloaded from app store as he says mac os high sierra and sent it over to me in order to create a bootable stick so i can fix my dad's mac.

of course, no luck whatsoever

what can i do in order to fix this issue ? i have the installer in my Application folder and i have followed this command

sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app

and what i get in response is

zsh: killed sudo --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath

dragos@Dragoss-MacBook-Pro ~ %

what can i do in order to fix my dad's latop.. or what i am doing wrong ?

Please help if possible.
