Event notification for events not on the calendar

On my iPhone, I get notifications for events that are not listed on the Calendar on my iPhone. Is there a way to track down where these are coming from and stop them? I don't have iCloud turned on. The Calendar app only shows the Calendar on my iPhone, the US Holidays calendar, and the Birthdays calendar.

Hi Rich Wingerter,

If you have multiple emails accounts on your iPhone, the calendar events may be related to one of those accounts. To check, go to Settings > Calendar > Accounts. You will see your lists of accounts and you will see Calendars listed under each one that has it enabled. Make sure the events are related to one of those accounts.

For more information about setting up and using multiple calendars, review still article: Set up multiple calendars on iPhone.

If the information above doesn't help, we recommend contacting Apple Support here: Get Support. They will be able to further assist you.

Take care.

Hey Rich Wingerter,

We'd recommend reviewing this article as the steps here can help you identify unknown calendar events: Delete spam calendars and events on iPhone - Apple Support

"How to remove calendar spam on your iPhone in iOS 14.6 or later

  1. Open the Calendars app.
  2. Tap the unwanted Calendar event.
  3. Tap Unsubscribe from this Calendar at the bottom of the screen.
  4. To confirm, tap Unsubscribe.

How to remove calendar spam on your iPhone in earlier versions of iOS

  1. Open the Calendar app.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, tap Calendars.
  3. Look for a calendar that you don't recognize. Tap the More Info button  next to that calendar, then scroll down and tap Delete Calendar.

If this doesn't fix the issue, delete the calendar subscription in Settings:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Calendar > Accounts. Or if you use iOS 13, tap Passwords & Accounts > Accounts instead.
  3. Tap Subscribed Calendars.
  4. Look for a calendar that you don't recognize. Tap it, then tap Delete Account."

Thanks!
