problem with Spotify on Apple Watch ultra

When on cellular, i can only play the first four minutes of a song on Spotify using my apple watch ultra. was not a problem with my old apple watch 7. music stops abruptly around 4 minutes. the app seems frozen but it is not. when i come close to my iphone it will work again. i have to close the Spotify app and restart it for it to unfreeze and play another 4 minutes before it's stuck again. This is not a problem with my apple music app on cellular only. So i think it is a Spotify specific problem.
