Apple TV and display resolution issue

I changed the settings to 4k HDR and the display is not recognizing the HDMI cable

I am inclined to say that step 5 will probably be the solution for you.

No 4K option Hi! I just upgraded my Apple TV 4K 1st gen to 3rd gen. Everything works perfectly with my old Apple TV but not my new one that doesn’t show 4K HDR or SDR as a resolution option. The highest available is 1080. Also there is no option to check my hdmi cable and it’s not possible to change chrominans from 4:2:2, which is strange to me since 4:2:0 is a less complicated setting.. frustrated!
