ecobee camera won’t disable in HomeKit when home

I recently added an Ecobee security camera to our HomeKit accessories and have it enabled for streaming and recording when both members of the house are “away” and the camera off entirely when “home”. (No streaming or recording). Ever since upgrading the HomeKit architecture I can’t get the camera to turn off when I’m home. I’ve checked and my location is based on my phone, and maps knows where my house. Nothing was changed other than HomeKit, and before the upgrade the camera turned on and off as it should
