Missed calls
When someone calls me & I miss a call, the missed calls do not show up on my screen, I can only see who has called me on recent contacts?

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are unable to see missed call notifications on your iPhone. To help with this, please check your notifications settings for the Phone app, as that could explain this behavior:
