Just started receiving double text only with one person???

This just started a couple days ago now. I receive texts regularly from the person, but now I’m receiving double, one says imessage the other says text message, what’s going on?

Why is my iMessage sending as SMS to just one contact? Hello, just one contact of mine seems to be affected whereby I send an iMessage but it gets sent by SMS. They have an iPhone. My number isnt sending back double texts anymore, instead its replying to me? worried somebody is on the other side I've been texting my number reminders and random stuff for fun for a while. I've even sent personal information before like login info to remember. I know that it's normal for your own number to send you double texts but just recently mine stopped doing that, but I overlooked it thinking it was a part of a new update or something, which apparently it's not. The scariest part is that instead of sending double texts it replied to a question I sent myself with "Nah". Somebody please help lol nobody has been able to help me with this and I'm not sure what I should do.

Green text messages not received 2 people I know of send a text and I do not receive. These are in green boxes. I get texts from them regularly that are blue. Then periodically the green thing happens. They do not know I am not getting the message. These are iPhone to iPhone. Mine to them are always received. One is my spouse with same phone and service plan. Activated on all 3 phones—sms, iMessage. Small town and in local service area.

If it's only that one person, it's probably on their end. Suggest to them that they restart their phone.

Thank you! Also Because there was Doing it, mine started doing it back to them, but only in there text conversation no one else.
