Connect internal iMac 27" 2011 HDD externally to Mac mini

Hello, I just bought a Mac mini M2 for replacing my iMac 27" 2011 after its graphic card failed for the second time (about $200 to DIY-replace). I would like to move the data from the iMac internal HDD into the Mac mini storage. For now, I took out the iMac HDD, connected it via a SAT-USB cable to Mac mini USB entry but it is not detected. How to proceed? Thanks.

To note, I had added up an SSD to iMac back in 2012 and I had no issue moving its data to Mac mini over via the same SATA-USB cable.

Did that cable come with a separate power cable? It's required. If not separately powered, the 3.5-inch drive used in iMacs of that vintage cannot mount.
