Canon G2010 Printer driver solution solved

I read in another thread about persons having problems setting up this device Canon prixma G2010 on Mac and the solutions stated there are not working or up to date.

Apparently there's no driver for it on Canon website. But a video on YouTube has solved the problem.

The solutiom to the issue is to download the gutenprint driver 5.3.3 from here https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-print/files/gutenprint-5.3/5.3.3/ and then manually setup/install the driver from Mac os settings.
