Transfer apple account balance to Apple Cash

I want to purchase Apple Card with my Apple ID

I just started using iphone&apple services being that this is my first iPhone,well I put 20 on wrong thing now but mounted money just sits on balance cause I can’t figure out how to use it&cant trans it on or use to buy a gift card

Nothing sketchy in keeping people’s money safe. Apple ID account can receive funds directly and/or an Apple Gift Card can be redeemed into the account. People lose physical gift cards, and when they do, there is no way to reimburse the funds.

Another issue is gift cards being used to commit fraud. If the gift card is redeemed into an Apple ID Account, that eliminates the fraud risk.

Sorry, I don’t understand what you want to do. Apple Pay doesn’t hold funds. Apple Pay is a payment system that provides better privacy and security. Apple Cash is a prepaid debit card that is in your Apple Wallet app. You can redeem funds on your Apple Gift Cards for to your Apple ID Account for safety, security and convenience.

Yes Jeff, I’d put the same feedback on apple.com/feedback as well as to the ‘help’ representative I spoke to and his boss officiating on the same shift.

No care at all of having huge amount of money that is literally useless to be only able buy products from the App Store.

Not wanting to continue here - actually find myself very irritated now thinking about it.

Transfer money from where? Apple Pay is not a bank you can transfer money from, it just facilitates the transaction between two sources that are eligible to use the platform.
