Cannot Use Airplay with Wifi Extender

I have a Macard wifi extender and an iPhone X, with external speakers connected to an Airport Express. I am unable to use Airplay when connected to the wifi extender's network. The icon doesn't even appear on the iPhone. I would like to use Airplay with the wifi extender so I can control the speakers further away from the router. Thanks in advance.

  1. Ensure that both your iPhone X and the Airport Express are connected to the same Wi-Fi network generated by the Macard Wi-Fi extender. Sometimes, devices can automatically switch between different Wi-Fi networks, so double-check this.
  2. Try restarting your Macard Wi-Fi extender, and Airport Express. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues.
  3. To reset the extender, press the WPS button for 10-15 seconds to restore factory settings. The WiFi SSID of the wifi extender will be “Wi-Fi Extender” after restoring successfully. Then set up again from the beginning.
  4. Confirm that the Macard Wi-Fi extender and Airport Express support AirPlay. AirPlay functionality might be limited or not supported by certain Wi-Fi extenders or older hardware.
  5. Check for any available firmware updates for both the Macard Wi-Fi extender and Airport Express. Keeping the firmware up to date can often resolve compatibility issues and provide bug fixes.
  6. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary software glitches. Turn off your iPhone, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
    1. Restart the device. That's it.
