Wrong zip code setup

My phone is somehow incorrectly registered for Chicago. When shopping online or even on Facebook my phone directs searches to the wrong zip code. How can I change the seemingly built in zip code which often blocks me to the specific area of Chicago? Thanks in advance for your help

On your iPhone or iPad

Go to Settings > General > Date & Time.
Turn off Set Automatically. Is this setting dimmed?
Change the time zone or the date and time: Tap Time Zone and enter a city with the time zone that you need. Or tap the date to change the date and time.

If you can't change the time or time zone on your Apple device
