iMovie on iOS: added files are not in order based on recording date

Hi,

i have the latest version of iOS and iMovie and it has now happened several times that when I mass add a combination of photos and videos, that those are not added in proper chronological order.

In the past this had happened when I had also files from my wife’s phone copied over to my phone through airdrop.

Thus I refrained from copying her files over for my current video project and only used recordings I had made. But even with my own files the order that the files appear in Photos gets broken once they are added to iMovie.

Any ideas how to fix / prevent this?

Hi,

This forum is for iMovie for Mac. You might try posting your iMovie for iOS question on the iPhone forum.

Take a look at this link from the iPhone forum and see if there is anything in there that helps you.
