Google Classroom Issues

Hello smart people. I am having an issue with Google Classroom. It opens student work perfectly on my iphone and my PC (school issued...not my choice). Yesterday I was on the Classroom on my ipad and it was fine. It crashed and when it reopened, it is not accessing files correct. I cannot edit docs like I as 10 min earlier. I cannot open their slides properly for feedback either. I have turned the device on and off, deleted and reinstalled the Google Classroom app, used it from a browser, factory reset the ipad, fully charged the ipad...nothing.

So what is going on and how do I fix it. It is clearly not an issue of Apple incompatibility since it is fine on my iphone, but I cannot get it to work on the ipad.

Someone save me.

Hi there DrJenS_01,

If you are having an issue with a specific app closing unexpectedly on your iPad, these steps from If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open can help resolve what happening:

1. Close and reopen the app
Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2. Restart your device
Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3. Check for updates
To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

If this continues after following those, then reach out to the app developer next. They would be the best equipped to investigate this behavior further. This shows how to do this: How to contact an app developer

Take care!
