JAMF SCHOOL and APPLE SCHOOL MANAGER

We have seeing alot of issues with communication between apple school manager ipads and Jamf School


Jamf School is stating it is a issue between Apple and the device when apps are stuck in a gray waiting to download or when i try to refresh a device in Jamf school and it does not communcation in a timely manner.


Any other school's out there having the same issue - I am in Reading Pa EST

Yes! We contacted Jamf who told us it was an Apple issue. We started a case with Apple but no resolution yet. A workaround that has helped 75% of the time... In Jamf, go to the device and then Managed apps and remove all installs that are in the process of doing something. Then clear the activity log. Hard restart the iPad 3 times. I know...its weird.
