JAMF SCHOOL and APPLE SCHOOL MANAGER

We have seeing alot of issues with communication between apple school manager ipads and Jamf School

Jamf School is stating it is a issue between Apple and the device when apps are stuck in a gray waiting to download or when i try to refresh a device in Jamf school and it does not communcation in a timely manner.

Any other school's out there having the same issue - I am in Reading Pa EST

Sonos App - A Disconnected Experience Sonos App: A Broken and Frustrating Experience I've been grappling with persistent connectivity issues on the Sonos app for over five months. Despite repeated attempts to escalate the problem to Sonos support, the issue remains unresolved. I'm unable to control basic functions like adjusting the volume or skipping songs. Furthermore, I'm unable to connect to popular music services such as Apple Music, Spotify, or various radio stations. I've provided Sonos with screenshots, recordings, and system reports from multiple devices to illustrate the problem. However, they've shown little interest in explaining the root cause or offering a solution. The lack of communication and progress is extremely frustrating. I'm considering escalating the issue to Apple. Has anyone had success with this approach?

Cannot Connect when searching in App store I just activated a brand new 128gig iPhone 14 iOS 17.0.3 and have found when I use the App store search bar I am unable to see any results. For example, I search on the word food (or any word) and receive the message 'Cannot Connect Something went wrong. Please try again'. There is a blue Retry field when tapped just continues to produce the same Cannot Connect message. Also, when I tap on any of the selections under the Discover section (puzzle games, sticker maker, etc), they also produce the same Cannot Connect message. Yet if I tap GET under any of the Suggested apps, they start to download without issue. My local AT+T store has apparently never seen this before and blames iOS 17.0.3. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes! We contacted Jamf who told us it was an Apple issue. We started a case with Apple but no resolution yet. A workaround that has helped 75% of the time... In Jamf, go to the device and then Managed apps and remove all installs that are in the process of doing something. Then clear the activity log. Hard restart the iPad 3 times. I know...its weird.
