Has anyone experienced problems with an iPhone 12 bought in Japan that is now being used in Europe or Germany? 5G is not the purpose of use in Europe. Preferably 4G/LTE. But I read already, that Japaner iPhones do not support GSM Technology.

2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, VoLTE, 5G all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you. About the LTE options on your iPhone - Apple Support (IN)
