Updating drivers on Mac?

Im experiencing delay and lagging in trading view(app and web).

Here is what trading view support recommended me "We recommend you update the drivers, especially for the video card, and check on the issue on the brand new chart layout also."

PS: I told them that I have a Mac

MacBook Pro (2017 – 2020)

"Graphics Drivers" in this context are not actually drivers at all, they are just personality profiles for your display.

The Mac does not benefit from such updates, as it queries the display directly, and uses the display profiles provided by the display itself, not some dubious 'stuff' you side-loaded.

You should question the ability of 'the provider of that recommendation' to provide any substantial help.

¿what MacBook Pro model-year and screen size?

¿what version MacOS?

Rather than play 20 questions, if you download and run this little "discovery" utility, Etrecheck, it looks around inside your Mac and generates a report, pre-laundered (of all personally-identifiable information, suitable for posting back to the forums for readers to help you analyze.
