started facing battery issues after updating My Watch OS from 8.7.1 to 8.8.1

Hi i have just updated my watch os from 8.7.1 to 8.8.1 yesterday and my watch battery timing decreased badly. before update my watch standby battery time was approx 24 to 26 hours but after update it decreased 4 to 5 hours maximum.just wanted to ask if someone else facing the same issue.

Apple continued to sell the watch in their stores until a year ago so the device is one year old. The initial introduction of the watch is irrelevant.
