Trying to open Library I see: can't open library because the library was created by newer version of Final cut.
In the ap store under Update tab no final cut, then after finding final cut in ap store I can't update. The button says 'open'
Im stuck and have a big edit due tomorrow.

Zip your current version and then move the 10.6.4 version to the trash. Go to your Purchased page in the App Store and find the application. It should have a cloud download button. That will install the latest version.

The OS is Ventura? It can’t give you 10.6.5 unless there’s a problem with the App Store. Which country is this?

well. I did that and the reload of FCPX gave me version 20.6.5 and I still get the same error message when trying to open the library. The odd this is that the library was created with a FCPX version 10.6.4. Any clues from this info?
No update button, only Open can't open newer versions of FCPX 10.6.4 to 10.6.6
