why do I get error code 4301 when I try to open photos on my imac?

Photos 3143 error I had to move my Photos library off of my Mac to free up space to do updates, and have now moved it back. I had to make it the system library when I moved it back but that process never completed and whenever I try to open the library I get a 3143 error, if I choose to open another library from that dialogue I get this error "The operation couldn’t be completed. User is changing the system photo library" I tried creating a new empty library which opened but when I tried to make that the system library it did not complete and I have the same issue. I have tried repairing the library but it still gives the 3143 error after repair Does anyone have any solutions ?

Importing images to Photos When I attempt to import any image file to Photos, I get the following error box: Cannot Import Item: This item cannot be added to your Photo library because it may be an unrecognizable file format or the file may not contain valid dataThere was an error attempting to Free up... I have run repair on Photos to no avail. However I recently activated a new Mac mini M4 and put the photo library on an external SSD which could mean I have to do something to remedy the problem.

Cannot export or edit photos Just got a new 2022 MacBook Pro M2 - running Venture 13.5 , photos Version 8.0 (560.0.110) My photo library is stored on an external hard drive On another Mac I can use that external hard drive and edit and export with no problems On the new Mac I keep getting an unknown error whenever I try to export or edit . So it can't be the external hard drive as it works on the 2020 MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.4 Photos Version 8.0 ( 551.0.140) What setting do I need to change to get it working ?

Never mind. Seemed to do a restore by itself and has loaded and opened 🤔.
