Find my doesn't show 'People'

My new iPhone doesn't show 'People' in find my. When I get on the app, it disappears in a second.

I made an update, turned it off and even went to the Apple Store. They couldn't find something in the settings, turned it off as well and said I should call Apple Support.

Any suggestions what else I could do?

Hello aaangellike,

If you're not seeing the People tab in the Find My app, that could be based on which country you're located in. As mentioned in Share your location with your family, "Location sharing isn't supported in South Korea and might be unavailable in other regions due to local laws." Even if you aren't actually located in one of those countries, it might still affect you if your iPhone was originally purchased from one of those countries.

If you're located in a country that does support location sharing, and your device was purchased in a country that supports it, try out these steps:

  1. Restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone.
  2. Update to iOS 13.3 if you aren't already running that version: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  3. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions. If this is enabled, make sure Location Services is set to Allow.
  4. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services, and make sure it's enabled there.
  5. See if you're able to locate your friends by logging into iCloud.
