Hi guys ! I have a question, I had a MacBook Air M1 laptop with the standard equipment. Now I am planning to upgrade to M2 pro 16 inch MacBook pro with the standard features. My big question would be ,will the 16 GB ram be enough for 4K video editing in Final Cut compared to 8 GB. Do I need 32 GB or is 16 GB enough. Thanks in advance for the reply ! :)

In my opinion, If you edit anything more than pictures of your kids, you should get the 32 GB RAM model.
They CAN'T be upgraded later if 16 GB turns out to be not-quite-enough in the time you expect to own this..

Then 16GB is good enough. And you should get AppleCare+ as well.
FWIW, I would not get any computer today that had less than 32GB RAM. Apps are getting more RAM demanding not less and you can not increase RAM after purchase.

I think you are seriously using FCPX, you'd better get 32GB RAM, though if you are light user, 16GB is good enough memory.

If you can sell it then it's pro quality. There was full length movie a while back shot completely on an iPhone so it can happen.
