iCloud, locked MacBook Air

I accidentally forgot my password and information cannot unlock my MacBook Air.

if I cannot get this unlock, I will have to purchase a new computer at this time. I cannot afford price.

of replacement.

I am a senior citizen on a fixed income.

Please clarify , is it the Apple ID password that is forgotten , also the admin password for Mac , how is you Apple ID account set with secondary authentication in which three answers for respective questions , date of birth , rescue mail address and its password or set with 2FA ?
