i deleted the app few days ago but it still tracking my location

Hello juliamazed,

1. Open Settings
2. Scroll down and tap on Privacy & Security
3. Tap on Location

Find the app in question and remove it. If it isn't there try restarting your iPhone and seeing if the app is still tracking you and/or showed up in the Location settings.

It is also possible you deleted the app from your Home Screen and not the device. See if the app is searchable within the App Library - Find your apps in App Library on iPhone - Apple Support. You can get here by swiping all the way to the left (past the last page).

Make sure your iPhone is also up to date (currently iOS 16.5.1)

Resetting to Factory Settings:

If you are so concerned, then reset you iPhone to factory settings, as if you were to sell it. Perform as instructed here, including the backup creation, and iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Tracking location does not use measurable amounts of energy, so that is not what is draining your battery.
