Accidentally marked a photo of me as “not me”

In the Photos app I accidentally marked a photo of me as not me, and can’t remember which photo it was.

I know you can review photos that are incorrectly marked as a person, but can you alternately review photos that have been incorrectly marked as not the person who it is in fact is?

thank you.

Hi Sam,

Apple doesn't have a way to identify which photo was marked as "not me".

However, we have an idea, if you're familiar with the photos in your Photo Library. You can search by your name to see all of the photos you've identified. Perhaps then you can remember which one is missing.

Find photos of a specific person
To find photos of a specific person, do either of the following:
• Tap Albums, tap the People album, then tap the face of a person to see all of the photos they’re in.
• Tap Search, then enter a person’s name in the search field.

Granted, it's not the most ideal answer, just a thought.

Hello Sam Freeman,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

We understand you have a question about the Photos app. We're happy to help.

If you mark a photo as  "This is Not [Name]", you'll have to manually tag the person. This is the expected behavior of the Photos app.
