Phone was submerged in pool water for a
about 10 mins. After drying, could see the apple logo, but phone would not come on. Now do not see the logo - - only black screen.

Whatever you do, DO NOT try to charge your phone if it has water damage and is not turning on, this could be disastrous.
Also, if the phone is damaged to the point of not powering on, aiming a blow dryer at the charging port isn't going to help.
As others have stated, your phone is irreparable and needs to be replaced.
Unfortunately, the phone is almost certainly going to be a total loss.
Confirm by heading to the Apple Store if you have one in your area, or taking the phone to an authorized Apple Service shop.
They might be able to offer you a refurbished phone at a reduced price.
