Issues with 13.4.1 update

I am experiencing some issues on the MacBook Pro M1 2021 after applying the latest software update (13.4.1). Half of the keys on the keyboard are not responding after the update (cmd, O, U etc) and I cant input the password on the login screen.

Tried with external keyboard, but was not getting connected, saying “Unlock to use accessories”.

Managed to get the external keyboard working in Safe mode.

Did a reinstall of the Mac OS there, and that fixed the external keyboard not available during login screen, and with that did a successful login. But the internal MacBook keyboard is still not responding.

Does anyone else have the same issues?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.4

I'm having similar issues. After the update, the Mini wouldn't recognize my "Magic" USB keyboard with numeric keypad. I got out the bluetooth keyboard that I have used before when this has happened and eventually -- after an hour of wasted time and numerous restarts -- got things working again. Today, two days later, the USB keyboard quit working. I finally got it going but now the Mini doesn't recognize the changes I made to keyboard shortcuts (reversed Control & Command).

This is just about the last straw for me. Macs are supposed to "just work." I would much rather go back to Linux instead of having problems like this that continue for years and are never addressed by Apple. Ridiculous.
