Is there a product that will read/play cds or dvds on a MacBook Air from 2020? I gave up a few years ago but was hoping that something had been created to fix this #$@!.
If anyone knows of a real solution I would so appreciate it!

My 2020 MBA works with my 3 different CD drives (Apple SD and two Samsung). no issues
Apple Superdrive. Works beautifully on our two 2020 27" iMacs, my 2016 MBP, wife's 2020 MBP and my old iMac 21.5" 2015
I’m looking specifically for the MacBook Air bc it was fraught w incompatibility issues when it came out (unbeknownst to me). But many thanks for your comment!

No. Samsung just like the other makes. It is a tray drive not slot like the Apple. i also have a Pioneer drive that works just as well on one of my other Macs.
