Hello megamom,

If you just hit enter, or the return key, on your keyboard. If you want to go to the next line within the same row (multi line), hold option while hitting the enter key (option + return)

I hope this helps!

Thank you Barry, Your right about my question not being clear. I was having trouble inserting data into a spreadsheet. That "Adjust import settings" seems to magically appear and disappear. Anyway, the answer I was looking for is the paragraph return symbol. Placing the paragraph return symbol at the end of all the columns I want to enter will place the next category into the next row. Thank you for taking time to help me.

Thank you for responding. I didn't structure a very good question.

I was having trouble inserting a list categories into different columns. At the end of one category going to the next row for another category. The answer is the paragraph return symbol at the end of columns for that specific category.

I appreciate you taking the time to help me. Thanks Again
